Hi Chris,

Could you try to lower the "Dithering Stability" value and to increase the "Settle Time"? Maybe APT starts the exposure too early?
Clear skies,
Ivo

Activate RA dithering only in PHD2. This happens when PHD make dithering in DEC. My opinion is that is caused by the setting of DEC guiding North/South in PHD. When PHD makes dithering in same direction which is configured for DEC guiding it needs a lot of time to get the original position relative to occuracy of polar alignment. During this time there isn't a DEC guiding and trails occured. I have this issue many times. Problem is not in APT. Some time ago I had a conversation with Ivo (Yoddha) about APT - PHD communication. The decision for dithering direction is made in PHD. When PHD make +/- RA dithering it's OK but on 3rh or 4th picture when a DEC dithering is made fail occurs when match the fixed by you direction of guiding South/North.
